Child Health Clinic

The Department of Public Health offers comprehensive medical services to children from birth through age 20. We accept some private insurance, Medicaid, Health Choice, and self-pay based on family income. We offer on-site eligibility services for Medicaid and Health Choice.

Patients are seen by appointment. Sick children are worked-in to be seen usually within 24 hours.

 

Child Service Coordination (CSC)

Franklin County Health Department offers Child Service Coordination (CSC) to all families with children from birth through age five with special needs.

This is a comprehensive, coordinated, interagency system of services.

CSC's Goals
  • To collaborate and cooperate with families to assure identification of and access to preventive, specialized, and support services for themselves and their children.
  • Provide an opportunity for individual members and the family unit to reach their maximum potential.
  • The opportunity to identify their concerns and develop or enhance their self-reliance skills.
Availability

CSC is available at no charge to families of children less than three years of age who are at risk for:

  • Developmental delay or disability.
  • Chronic illness.
  • Social/emotional disorder.

CSC is available free of charge to families of children three to five years old who have:

  • A diagnosed developmental disability or delay, chronic illness, or emotional/social disorder.
  • Clinical high risk documented by relevant providers, i.e. nurse, early intervention specialist, or social worker.
