Welcome!

The mission of the Parks and Recreation Department is to promote the quality of life by serving the community's needs for leisure, parks, information and referral, by providing quality and affordable recreational programs and services to all residents.

Along with offering many recreational programs, we also have a county park located in Franklinton that provides a picnic shelter and individual grill sites for picnics, playground facilities, a walking track and 3 athletic fields.

Basketball Camp June 14-1,7 9am 12pm $30 registration ends June 11,2010 Ages 5-18

Volleyball Camp June 21-24, 9am-12pm $30 registration ends June 18,2010 Ages 5-18

Cheerleading Camp August 2-5, 9am 12pm $30 registration ends July 30,2010 Ages 5-15

Golf Camp July 27-29, 9am-1pm $100 registration ends July 23, 2010 Ages 5-18

Basketball League Ages 5-18 $30 Registration ends June 11,2010

Volleyball League 8-11, 12-18, $30 Registration ends July 1, 2010

Art Camp July 19-23, 26-29. 5-8 year olds 9am-10am& 9-12 10am-11am fee is $30

Adult Coed Softball League $350 per team Registration ends June 18, 2010

Jr Golf Day August 19 $20. Registration ends August 18, 2010

Putt Drive and Chip competition July 15, 2010 No fee Ages 7-14.
